How distance readings actually work
The most common question H is asked is whether a reading loses something when it is done remotely. It does not. Here is why, and exactly how a distance session is run.
Why distance changes nothing
What comes through in a reading is not carried by the air in the room. H has read for people sitting opposite him and for people six thousand miles away, and the work behaves identically.
What does matter is attention. A quiet room, an hour that is genuinely yours, and a connection that does not keep dropping will do more for a session than being in the same building.
How a remote session is arranged
You write to H with a sense of what you are bringing and roughly when suits. He replies himself, offers times in your own time zone, and confirms the format: video or voice, whichever you find easier to relax into.
There is nothing to install and nothing to buy. You will have a link and a time, and that is the whole of the admin.
What to have ready
Somewhere you will not be interrupted, headphones if the household is busy, and a glass of water. That is genuinely the list.
You do not need photographs, objects, birth charts or documents. If you want to bring something because it holds meaning for you, bring it, but the reading does not lean on it.
The same standards apply
Remote does not mean lighter. The same hour, the same honesty, and the same refusal to invent detail to fill a silence.
If a connection is poor enough to spoil the session, H will stop and rearrange it rather than push through a compromised hour.

- Is a distance reading as accurate as sitting in the same room?
- Yes. Proximity is not what makes a reading work. H reads the same way whether you are across the table or on another continent.
- How is a remote session held?
- By video or voice call, whichever you prefer, at a time arranged by email. Nothing needs installing beyond the link H sends you.
- Do you need a photograph or an object?
- No. If bringing one matters to you, you are welcome to, but nothing about the work depends on it.
- What about time zones?
- Sessions are arranged around your time zone. Say where you are in your first note and H will offer times that suit.
- What does a remote reading cost?
- The same as any other session: £250 an hour, arranged by email.
